The Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic is the largest employee health insurance company with more than 1,200,000 clients. The insurance company offers the unique electronic product "Life card", which is already owned by hundreds of thousands of its policyholders.
The mobile version of the ZP211 Life Card project enables the insured of the Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic to gain immediate access to information about their health condition. Every Life Card holder has records of allergies, chronic diseases, blood type, medications used, family history, operations, injuries, etc. Data on the health status and reported care of their children is also available to them. The application includes the Health Diary, which alerts users to vaccination dates, preventive examinations and screening programs. The medical log allows the user to enter their own event. The application offers an overview of expenses for the provided health care for the last 3 years in the form of a personal account statement. In case of emergency, it is possible to call or send an SMS with an urgent data and current location to a person close to the application.

Every Life Card holder has records of allergies, chronic diseases, blood type, medications used, family history, operations, injuries, etc. Data on the health status and reported care of their children is also available to them. The application includes the Health Diary, which alerts users to vaccination dates, preventive examinations and screening programs. The health diary allows the user to enter their own event. The application offers an overview of expenses for the provided health care for the last 3 years in the form of a personal account statement. In case of emergency, it is possible to call or send an SMS with an urgent data and current location to a person close to the application.
Some functions, such as finding the nearest health facility or information about prevention programs, are available to all users. However, only the insured of the insurance company 211 can use the full range of offered functions.
