Up to 65% of Czech companies can participate in the completion of a new nuclear power source in the Czech Republic
This is stated in a study prepared by experts from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Economics in Prague in cooperation with the Alliance of Czech Energy. The analysis points to the possible benefits of the construction of new nuclear units for the economy of the Czech Republic: an increase in the GDP of the Czech Republic by up to CZK 936 billion and public budget revenues by up to CZK 384 billion during the construction period. According to preliminary calculations, the construction of four new nuclear reactors in the Czech Republic would bring these funds, assuming that 65% of the Czech industry would participate in it.
ZAT, as a major European supplier of control systems for energy and industry, has an enormous interest in participating in their construction. As part of future cooperation, we are negotiating with all potential suppliers from the USA, France and South Korea.
