Austrian Medical University of Vienna uses therapeutic device from ZAT

For a long time, the Medical Division of ZAT has been specializing in the development, production and certification of medical devices. In October, our colleagues conducted another successful sale of therapeutic device manufactured by ZAT to foreign markets. "We fulfilled the order through a distribution partner. The sale of products and competencies through distribution companies and partners is one of the strategic goals of our division," explains Roman Plavec, Director of the Medical Division.

The Austrian Medical University of Vienna will use the therapeutic device primarily to accelerate wound healing after dental procedures. Currently, despite strict anti-epidemic measures on the Czech and Austrian side, there was a training of medical staff of MUDr. Emil Záhumenský, a leading Czech specialist in the field of diabetology and podiatry. The cooperation will continue in the future through expert consultations. "The Austrian side has already shown interest in other devices from our portfolio of the Medical division, which we perceive as a quality basis for establishing our devices and competencies in the field of healthcare on the Austrian market," adds Roman Plavec.

ZAT is a certified manufacturer of medical devices according to ISO 13485. It provides comprehensive services from the development and production of medical devices through the development of custom software to competencies in the field of certification of medical products according to the newly introduced MDR (Medical Device Regulation).
