Are you going to Pilsen? Then don't forget to take a look at our smart meeting rooms
As part of improving the environment in our communication center in Pilsen, we placed SimONet sensors (ZAT's new platform for wireless data collection) in all meeting rooms, which monitor the temperature and the amount of CO2 in the air.
A high concentration of carbon dioxide causes a loss of attention, fatigue and, if it acts for a long time, even a headache. We want to prevent these problems that reduce our work performance.
How does the system works?
If the sensors detect an increased CO2 concentration, they send the information to the SimONet IoT platform, which is connected to Outlook meeting calendars. SimONet will find out if a meeting is currently in progress in the given meeting room and who is the organizer. The SimONet platform then sends an email to the meeting organizer notifying him that the meeting room needs to be aired out.
In meeting rooms without the possibility of ventilation, SimONet can automatically start the air conditioning system when the concentration of CO2 is increased.
Thanks to the easy-to-deploy SimONet IoT technology, we are able to ensure an optimal environment not only in meeting rooms of office spaces and industrial buildings, but also in healthcare facilities or nursing homes.
