We discussed possible cooperation at the Lithuanian embassy in Prague
As a leading supplier of nuclear energy systems, we attended a meeting at the Lithuanian Embassy in Prague on Monday, October 10. The topic was the presentation of the Surface Repository project of Low and Medium-Active Short-Lived Radioactive Waste B25, i.e. the plan for the disposal of the decommissioned Ignalina nuclear power plant in Lithuania.
On behalf of the Lithuanian side, the Lithuanian ambassador Mr. Laimonas Talat-Kelpša and managers from the Ignalina NPP took part in the meeting. Representatives of the companies ŠKODA JS, NUVIA, Energoprojekt, ÚJV Řež, ABO, I&C Energo and ZAT accepted the invitation on behalf of the Czech Republic, including a representative from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
"This is mainly about activities for engineering organizations and company building, so we do not expect our wider participation in the project. However, the representatives of the embassy informed us about a number of other interesting business opportunities in Lithuania, where our products can be used," says František Kural, director of sales and marketing, who participated in the event.
