Liebherr representatives verified the quality of our production for their new product
ZAT owns modern production lines for the manufacture of industrial electronics. In the production plant in Pribram we produce over 100 000 pieces of electronic boards annually. More than half of the production capacity is taken up by orders for external customers.
Liebherr is one of the companies for which we manufacture sophisticated industrial electronics. The company uses them in its machines for construction and mining activities or in other mining equipment.
As part of our long-term cooperation, representatives of the company visited us in June. We welcomed Mitterhuber Gerhard, Senior Manager, and Arb Joachim, Liebherr Technician, to the premises of the Příbram plant. Jakub Křesina, ZAT's Purchasing Director, and Luboš Holý and Jindřich Smítka from ZAT's Industrial Electronics Division gave them a tour of the modern production facilities and test room and introduced them to the purchasing and sales process. The demonstration included working with critical components in FORECAST, supplier qualification and component life cycle tracking.
The aim of the visit was to check whether ZAT was a qualified supplier for one of their new products. "The Liebherr representatives were extremely satisfied and appreciated our company's competence. Their questions were also directed to our SandRA control system," says Luboš Holý, Deputy Director of the Industrial Electronics Division. The meeting was sponsored by Inpower, a customer of Liebherr products at ZAT.
"If a company has individual requirements, we can basically produce any electronic assembly for it, from prototypes to medium-sized production series," specifies Luboš Holý.
ZAT invests an average of CZK 30 million annually in development and production facilities. In 2021, we commissioned a new SMT3 automatic line for CZK 32 million. As part of the production facilities,

Within the production facilities, the line ensures the mounting of components intended for surface mounted devices (SMD) on printed circuit boards. This is the third fully automatic component assembly line in our portfolio.
