We were visited by representatives of healthcare companies from the Persian Gulf

One of the segments in which ZAT specializes is the development, production and distribution of medical and therapeutic devices, including e-Health applications and telemedicine. "In addition to the European market, we are also focusing on the Persian Gulf region, where we want to supply the therapeutic medical devices we manufacture," says Roman Plavec, ZAT's healthcare marketing and sales director.

As part of the negotiations on our company's entry into the Arab market, we were visited in mid-November by Mr. Atheer Al-Azzawi from Al Bahja Trading Company and Mr. Ali Mayid, the technical director of a large reference hospital in the Persian Gulf. ZAT is among the four companies with medical facilities that these representatives visited during their stay in the Czech Republic. These are the companies Linet, TSE and Cheiron from Pilsen.

The main part of the meeting consisted of presentations and a practical demonstration of the functioning of our therapeutic devices Stimsmart, Ozosmart and e-Health applications. Business partners were interested in both the technical parameters and, in particular, the possibilities of applying our devices. According to them, this type of medical equipment is missing or very little widespread in the countries of the Gulf area.

"The initial meeting will be followed by further communication regarding the delivery of demo devices, including specifying the form of training for local doctors and specialists. We believe that our specialized medical devices will soon help people in the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, etc.," adds Roman Plavec.
