At the technology workshop we presented a product for local distribution systems

Local distribution systems (LDS) are becoming a new phenomenon at a time when energy management, i.e. electricity and gas, is an important issue for our customers. It is used by both commercial and industrial zones, shopping malls, apartment complexes and groups of houses.

On the topic of the latest trends and technologies in the LDS area, a seminar organised by the Czech Association of Local Distribution System Operators took place in Prague at the end of May, where we presented our product, the LDS control and monitoring centre.

Due to the great interest of the workshop participants, our colleagues had the opportunity to carry out a practical demonstration of the operation of our comprehensive information system SimONet.

"The participants especially appreciated that we are able to concentrate all the information about the operation of their LDS in one system, within which all the information is clearly and practically located in one place. They were also impressed by the flexibility of the system, where we are able to tailor it to their specific needs. They also welcomed the continuous updates with further developments," says Dominik Colin Fencl, Project and Product Manager, Smart Systems Division.

The event was aimed at energy management professionals and current and future operators of local distribution systems.
